Cyclophenil profile
Cyclophenil is a part of the family of Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator, or SERM, class of steroid drugs. Its main medical purpose is to increase ovulation in women who are experiencing fertility problems.
For athletes, Cyclophenil increases the amount of testosterone in the body and reduces the amount of estrogen. It accomplishes this by attaching to the natural estrogen receptors in the body, blocking the natural estrogen from bonding to cells in the body, which in turn makes the body’s natural testosterone level increase.
Cyclophenil usage and dosage
Because Cyclophenil blocks estrogen from the body, most athletes use Cyclophenl in stacks to avoid the effects aromatization. This results in less chance of gynocomastia and less water retention in the muscle. A dose of between 400 and 600 mgs/day is required to benefit from the effects of the drug. Cyclophenil is only helpful as a performance enhancer in men as it has no effect on women.
Cyclophenil side effects
As an anti-estrogen, Cyclophenil will not easily cause gynocomastia and in fact can help you avoid it. The main side effects are mood swings and acne.
Cyclophenil availability
Cyclophenil is less readily available than Nolvadex or Proviron – two drugs used as anti-estrogens for which most bodybuilders would use Cyclophenil for. When you find Cyclophenil it comes in 16 tablet blocks of 200 mg tabs. These packets cost around $20 to $30.
Cyclophenil research
Cyclophenil has been researched as a fertility drug and for its metabolism boosting properties as well as for its anti-estrogen effect in men.
